Anti-Bribery Policy Statement

Acon Construction Group Ltd is committed to maintaining a strong reputation for ethical conduct, financial integrity, and reliability. We recognise that any involvement in bribery—beyond being a criminal offence—damages our credibility and public image. Our objective is to minimise the risk of bribery by:

  • Setting out a clear anti-bribery policy.

  • Establishing and implementing appropriate anti-bribery procedures.

  • Communicating this policy and all relevant procedures to employees and external parties acting on behalf of the Company.

  • Conducting appropriate due diligence before engaging individuals or organisations to represent the Company in business dealings.

  • Monitoring and reviewing bribery risks and the effectiveness of existing anti-bribery measures.

Acon Construction Group Ltd strictly prohibits the offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting of any bribe—whether monetary or in any other form:

  • To or from any person or organisation, regardless of location or whether they are a public official, private individual, or company.

  • By any employee, agent, or representative acting on behalf of the Company.

  • For the purpose of securing an unethical commercial, contractual, or regulatory advantage for the Company.

  • For the purpose of obtaining any personal advantage—financial or otherwise—for an individual or anyone connected to them.

This policy prohibits any inducement intended to provide personal gain to a recipient or associated party, and which influences actions that may not be in the best interests of the Company or those they represent.

This policy does not prohibit normal, reasonable hospitality or customary gifts given during festivals or special occasions, provided such gestures are proportionate, appropriate to local practice, and properly recorded. Where there is uncertainty about whether a particular action may constitute bribery, employees must seek guidance from a Director before proceeding.

The prevention, detection, and reporting of bribery is a shared responsibility. Acon Construction Group Ltd is committed to:

  • Encouraging employees to remain vigilant and report any suspicions of bribery.

  • Providing secure and appropriate channels for raising concerns, and ensuring sensitive information is treated confidentially.

  • Investigating all allegations of bribery and cooperating fully with law enforcement or regulatory bodies.

  • Taking disciplinary action against any individual found to have engaged in bribery.

This policy will be communicated to all employees and reviewed at least annually—or sooner if required—to ensure its continued effectiveness and relevance.
