Right to Work Policy Statement
This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of Acon Construction Group Ltd in any capacity, including current employees, new starters, and employees transferring under TUPE regulations. It applies equally to all, regardless of race, gender, age, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Acon Construction Group Ltd is legally required to comply with UK immigration legislation and the requirements set by the UK Border Agency. We must ensure that all prospective and current employees have the legal right to work in the UK and that any restrictions on their employment are fully adhered to.
This policy sets out the procedures for verifying the right to work in the UK for both prospective and existing employees. Anyone unsure of these procedures must seek guidance from the Human Resources Department.

All employees and job applicants will be asked to provide appropriate documentation to confirm their eligibility to work in the UK. All individuals will be treated fairly and consistently, in accordance with our Fairness, Inclusion, Respect, Diversity, and Equality Policy.
This policy will be communicated to all employees and reviewed at least annually—or sooner if required—to ensure it remains effective and compliant with current legislation.
